Module Overview
The Integrated Aromatic Sciences Course Program was designed primarily by Dr. Sabina DeVita. It was based on the teaching and philosophies of Dr. Gary Young. Aspects of this program are similar to the Aromatherapy Courses that are presently available but with some major differences in application and philosophy.
The use of essential oils dates back as one of the oldest and most powerful therapies. Today it is being recognized for its therapeutic advantages as well as its efficacy.
The IEWS curriculum includes in-depth chemistry of essential oils, basic anatomy & physiology, application of essential oils, facial aesthetic applications, spiritual healing, emotional clearing and women’s health issues.
The program is designated to teach you a Basic – 350 hour course and an advanced 450 hour course in aromatic sciences totaling 800 hours for the Diploma Program.

The IEWS Basic curriculum includes basic chemistry of essential oils, basic anatomy & physiology, application of essential oils inclusive of body therapies (Vita Flex & Raindrop Technique), spiritual healing, and Egyptian emotional clearing techniques. The Advanced program introduces facial aesthetic applications and women’s /men's health issues.
The Basic online program is designated to teach you a Foundational – 350 hour course which offers the student a Basic Certification that will allow one to apply for liability insurance.
The Advanced 450 hour course in aromatic sciences is not offered at this time.
